3v3 tournament 28th march

Sunday 11th of April 12:00 GMT

3v3 tournament. This tour is for everyone: WK, WF, Wars, sand, clanless, whatever, doesn't matter! Everyone can join.

Rules:

1. Players make their own teams.

2. Double elimination

4.important:
A spell can only be chosen 2 times per team, except T (Cluster, Drain, Bouncer), C (Shield, Rush and Time Shift) and Y (link, ensnare, gravity) spells, which can only be chosen once per team

so:
2 people in a team buy lightning is allowed, 3 people buy lighning in a team is not
2 people buy thrust is allowed, 3 people buy thrust is not
1x cluster is allowed, 2x and 3x is not.
1x shield is allowed, 2x is not.
1x gravity is allowed, 2x is not.

etc.

Toggles count as the same spell!

It is really important to make good agreements with your team before a game, because a team loses by default if it breaks the rules missclick/forget can happen in buying spells, but you wont get auto loss if you dont use the spell you shouldnt have a single time

5. If a player gets disconnected, the remaining rounds will be played in a remake with the correct amount of gold (10 per round). If this happens during a round, his team will lose that round, in shoptime it doesnt matter. The game can only be remade 3 times this way. After that one team will have to play with one player less.

6. If a player doesn't show up, his team has the right to pick one of the substitutes. If you don't have a team or the maximum number of participants is reached, you can sign up as substitute.

7. Come up with a kewl name for your team

Because this tournament is announced more than 2 weeks in advance, I hope at least 24 people can sign up!

lol @ these "forbidden" spells i know u can make lame combies but that's just teamwork + the opponents can do the same^^ it's just a tactic now u just forbid tactics

I think it will just be more fun with these rules, and people will have to be more creative instead of using the same spell over and over again. Take combo's and teamwork to the next level, combining different spells, instead of just 3x lightning or double force field. It takes just minimal skill and teamwork to do that stuff. It's more challenging to use different spells together in a tactical way.

You say, if there is a lame combo: everyone can use it. True, but would it be fun if everyone is forced to use the same lame combo or probably lose?

I told evil I would be in team with you 2 but I forgot I'd already play with luci and sasori, so srry about that.

Sorry, the tournament date has been moved ahead 2 weeks, so now the date is the 11th of April instead of the 28th of March.
